Question: If a person has allergies, can a service animal be denied in the cabin?

Answer: Inconvenience of other passengers such as allergies is not sufficient grounds to deny a service animal carriage in the cabin. However, airlines are not required to ask other passengers to relinquish space that they would normally use in order to accommodate a service animal. For example, the space under the seat in front of the non-disabled passenger.
