Aide For British Dog Owners Affected by the Pandemic Lockdown

Underdog Unity is an initiative with a network of volunteers across the United Kingdom. For this this initiative, volunteers are matched with people in Sheffield who are in need of help caring for their dog. Services include walking, caring for, and taking the dogs of affected owners to vets.

“I had this idea a couple of weeks ago to create this network of volunteers across the UK, who can help dog owners who have been impacted by the coronavirus," says Nadine Kayser, the charity’s founder, and CEO. She adds, "All the fantastic volunteers are helping people who are facing various issues, some are key workers who haven’t been able to look after their pets all the way through those suffering from mental health challenges."
