Assistance Dogs in New Zealand Featured in new Friends inDEED Book

Local dogs from the Kotuku Foundation Assistance Animals Aotearoa (KFAAA), in Whanganui, are featured in Sue Allison’s book called: “Friends inDEED: Assist Dogs and their People”. In the book are Molly, the diabetes response English Cocker Spaniel, Delta, a trained white German Shepherd, Lola the racing Greyhound, and Nina the Borzoi.

The book is filled with deeds on how these dogs saved their owners from various problems in their lives, stories of their journeys to become assistance animals, and the bond they shared with their owners.

“Friends inDEED: Assist Dogs and their People” has a 4.5 score on GoodReads and is available through New Holland publishers.
