The Animals in Hands usually brings rescued exotic animals to care-homes, school nurseries, and parties. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the U.K. lockdown happening, all of these events are canceled.
Mo Safeer, the rescue service’s runner faces problems in keeping the rescued animals fed and healthy. As a result, he has launched a fundraising page of raising £11,500 to keep the service up and running. "Currently, Animals in Hands now have over 150 animals in their care equating to 80 different species, so you might appreciate why our veterinary costs last month were just over £700 not to mention the monthly animal food and animal husbandry costs!”, said Safeer.
