Doga Classes Benefit Pets and Their Owners

Kathleen Crisley, founder of the Balanced Dog, brought the idea of “doga” Christchurch. These doga classes offer pets and their owners an opportunity to spend quality time together while exercising.

Doga classes may not be as active as playing fetch, but they enable dogs to stretch to wind down - just like Crisley’s dog did. The class attendees are encouraged to bend and twist, and even straddle their dogs to keep them in place. Casey Bell, a yoga instructor, says that the dogs were excited at first but eventually they relaxed!
