Dogs Evolved to Communicate With People

Humans and dogs have been best friends since time immemorial. We have domesticated their lupine ancestors for companionship in hunting and at home. If we were to ask the question why such a thing is possible, we can answer with the same logic to how we’ve turned Aurochs into cows.

With plenty of millennia for breeding and training, dogs have evolved to understand, respond, and cooperate with humans automatically. Just like how we humans find our ability to learn, understand, memorize, and express languages, emotions, and gestures as innate, dogs are also able to communicate with people as part of their genetic heritage.
