Dogs Help You Live Longer, A Study Reveals

It's no secret that our four legged companions bring joy into our lives. But did you know that dogs can actually add more years to your live?

A study published in Circulation, a journal of the American Heart Association, revealed that dog ownership reduces your risk of cardiovascular disease. It reduces blood pressure, improves your lipid profile, and lowers your response to stress.

Dogs don't just reduce your risk of dying from a cardiovascular disease, but they also boost the quality of your life. Having a dog helps you to feel less lonely. It gives you a sense of purpose. People with dogs feel more loved and supported because of the relationship they build.

Do you own an assistance animal? Register your pet.

The Service Animal Registry of California invites you to have your assistance animal registered in order to designate its status. We also encourage you to take our online classes so you can be fully aware of your rights and gain more knowledge about your support animal.

Finally, we present to you our book entitled, “ASSISTANCE ANIMAL LAWS: LEARN YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS, THERAPY PETS, AND OTHER DOGS, CATS, AND ASSISTANCE ANIMALS” to provide you with a complete education on assistance animals.
