Hotel Receptionist Denies Customers Because Of Service Dog

Bryan Purifoy and his wife LeeAnn were supposed to have a wonderful evening at the Burgundy Hotel, when the hotel receptionist denied them a room. The reason? The couple brought their service dog named Jax, a collie shepherd.

Bryan says that he is frustrated and that he is allowed to go on a date night just like everybody else. The couple expressed they don’t want money or room. All they request is a simple apology from the receptionist.

The hotel owner apologized for the incident and has arranged for the couple and receptionist to meet personally on January 16. The manager also published a statement saying that the hotel happily welcomes service animals and that the incident was a result of room type confusion.
