School campuses are using their dorms to house and quarantine students coming from outside of Ohio or have been exposed to COVID-infected people. The quarantine rooms are in every residence hall of the campus.
Jill Jenkins, Executive Director of Residence Services, said, “The concentration of them is in buildings that have private bathrooms and that's our ideal situation, so primarily we have been using the Centennial Courts early in the year.”
The students who are under quarantine were allowed to keep animals in the quarters. These animals can either be for assistance, service, or emotional support. Residents are also given the liberty of walking their animals outside twice a day.
