This Wellness Center Lets You Cuddle With Therapy Cows

As the popularity of therapy animals grows, so does the number of animal types used for emotional therapy. Some even have registered peacocks, monkeys, sloths, horned lizards, turtles, and snakes as their emotional support animals.

In the case of India’s Cow Cuddling Center, they let you hug cows as a way to improve human health. However, India is not the first and only cow cuddling center in the world despite the country’s roots in Hinduism - where they believe cows are sacred.

The Dutch were the first to introduce the concept of cow cuddling, “Koe knuffelen” in the native tongue. The United States also has its own cow cuddling centers.
