Veterinary Clinics Observe Social Distancing Guidelines Through Creative Ways

During this time of the pandemic, it’s hard to keep a distance of six feet between clients and vet clinic staff. But when the weather is good, the Marquette Township Animal Medical Center conducts the pet examinations in the local dog park. The dog park has several facilities that allow patients to be positioned above ground level, making the examinations easier. Yet, the success of the exam depends on the preference of a patient as some animals become more active outside and others feel calmer in open spaces. Julie Vezzetti, a Veterinarian at Animal Medical Center said,We take the cues from the patients and we also listen to our clients as to what may be the best situation.”
